For me, family portraits are a chance to not only document your favorite people but also to create memories that you and your family will cherish forever. I like to call these lived-in photoshoots because the images that result from these sessions have a story behind them and emotions infused within them.

My goal with family photography is to capture the genuine moments and emotions that make your family unique — with all of the joy and the messiness that comes with real life.

Discovery Call

During the initial consultation, we’ll hop on a Zoom call so that we can meet each other and you can tell me about your family!

We’ll go through a series of questions that help me get to know your unique family dynamics as well as the vision for the session.

We’ll also discuss the best package for your needs, whether you're looking for a maternity photoshoot or classic family pictures. All information will also be emailed to you after the call.

Planning

Together we’ll plan an activity for you and your family to do during the session, such as baking cookies, bedtime routines, playing in the sprinklers, going on a hike, or celebrating a birthday.

We will nail down the perfect location and I’ll share a Pinterest board with inspiration for outfits and color schemes that complement your style.

On Site

Before we start the shoot I like to set the tone and voice clear expectations for the whole family. These shoots don’t require or expect perfection. If you have kids, let them be kids. I absolutely adore children and I’m not afraid to get silly with them — it also helps that I have endless patience!

My goal is to document your family exactly as they are, whether through lifestyle family photos or more traditional family portraits. However, I’m always willing to give direction as needed. As your photographer, I will either be a fly on the wall or join in on the fun. My mission is to make you and your family feel comfortable during the whole experience.

Delivery

You will receive your full gallery within 3 weeks of the session and will be able to download all the images you choose!
